Wing Chun Fut Kung Fu: Power of Positive Thinking

I make a lot of mistakes. While training Wing Chun Fut, the only way you get hit is when you make a mistake. If you perform your moves properly, you should not be hit in any fight.

Surprisingly, that's a lot of pressure. This means that you have ultimate control of your destiny. There's no one else to blame your outcome on because it doesn't matter who you fight or how long they have been training. Like my master says,"You can never lose a fight if you don't get hit.

So, correcting your mistakes becomes the most important task in your training. Students with a positive attitude do better and advance faster in kung fu. Why is that? It's because thinking negatively puts up imaginary barriers to your goals. For example, the goal of our school is that students can block all physical attacks by green belt level. Some people might say you can't get into a fight and expect to not get hit. We do. If you don't believe that it is possible you will be discouraged easily by challenges. Positive people know that hard times are a part of learning and will work as hard in the tough times as they do during the easy times.

Therefore, keep a positive attitude goes a long way.
